FIXED: Bug in Microsoft adCenter geo-targeting

In a prior post we described a problem in Microsoft adCenter’s geo-targeting feature. Today we learned that the bug has been fixed, and we were able to verify it through the interface and web analytics. It is now possible to exclude all of any state. We have no examined how this affects metropolitan areas that extend into states that are enabled, but the adCenter interface suggests that they are including these areas. To see this, simply drill down into enabled states that include metro areas that span adjacent, disabled states. You should see that the enabled state metro regions are enabled, while the regions in the disabled state are not checked.
